WHAT’S NEXT is a small but but brilliantly crafted collection of works by Texas based artist Adriane McMillon. Adriane’s pop influences are prominent throughout his work; pulling from the cartoons of his childhood, music icons and historical figures.

I was born in Arizona and raised in Texas, where I learned my craft. In most of my work, I use abstract realism and cartoons reminiscent of my childhood to tell short stories. I like to incorporate multiple layers and meanings throughout my pieces, all based off of a thought or feeling. I have been a full-time artist for 5 years and try to create thought provoking pieces that inspire its’ viewers. I’ve loved the arts for as long as I can remember. I liked to draw anime and was into web and graphic design when I was younger, but I picked up my first paint brush in 2014 and fell in love with it. The pandemic, though horrible, has allowed me to get in touch with my introvert side and an opportunity to paint more. I’ve just been blessed to be able to create things that people enjoy and also pay my bills (lol). For that, I’m truly grateful and ready for this new year.
